Safe and Responsible Limo Transportation for Grads
The Province of BC and the Passenger Transportation Board have strict laws for transporting minors in perimeter-seating vehicles (party buses and stretch SUVs of 12+ passengers). As a fully licensed and compliant operator, Time Limo strictly adheres to these regulations.
By law, any perimeter-seating vehicle transporting unaccompanied minors must have a qualified Safety Monitor on board — a staff member, separate from the driver, at least 25 years old, criminal-record checked, with valid First Aid and Naloxone training. 1–15 minors: 1 monitor; 16–30: 2 monitors (hourly fee applies).
Zero tolerance — it is illegal to consume alcohol or cannabis in a commercial vehicle in BC. The Safety Monitor is legally required to check bags before boarding; any alcohol found is confiscated, and the ride may be terminated without refund.
We cannot legally transport a minor without written consent. Every passenger under 19 must have a Parent/Guardian Consent Form signed before the trip — we provide the forms upon booking.
If a limo company tells you they “don’t need” a Safety Monitor for a party bus of minors, they are operating illegally. Do not risk your child’s safety with an unlicensed operator.
